Cousin Stacy's Alfredo Sauce

Ok, so technically this isn't my cousin Stacy's recipe...but she wrote it down on the recipe card for me YEARS ago. I think of her every time I see it! Many times i will add some ham and peas to the sauce as it cooks. Other times i add a couple of tablespoons of tomato paste. SUCH a versatile recipe!

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup butter
• 1 cup light cream or half and half
• 3/4 cup grated Parmesan
• 1 egg yolk, slightly beaten
• 2 tablespoons choppe parsley (opt)

Preparation

Step 1

Cook and stir all but parsley in med. sauce pan till hot. Pour over hot past and toss to coat. Serve with parsley and additional Parmesan.
