Rice in Steamer

Ingredients

  • 1 C rice to 1 C water
  • 1/2 t salt
  • pat butter

Preparation

Step 1

Fill pot with 7 C water.
Spray insert with Pam
Put rice and water in insert and stir
Cover and heat over high heat for 30 minutes
Fluff rice with a fork to separate
Reduce heat to medium, cover and cook another 15 minutes.
Wild and brown rice require a bit more water
