Ingredients
- up to 16# turkey
- poultry herbs
- cut lemons
- butter
Preparation
Step 1
Brine turkey for at least 24 hours
remove from brine place 1 stick of soft butter under the skin, i stick over the skin, place herbs and lemons in the cavity.
preheat traeger on smoke, smoke for 4-5 hours until 150 degrees
increase temp to 325 and cook until 165 degrees
cooked a 16# for 5 hours on smoke and then 2 hours at 325
