CHICKEN MARSALA

Ingredients

  • CHICKEN BREASTS
  • FLOUR
  • MUSHROOMS SLICED (AS MUCH AS YOU LIKE)
  • 1 CUP MARSALA WINE (START WITH THAT)
  • 1/2 CUP CHICKEN BROTH (START WITH THAT)
  • HEAVY CREAM (OPTIONAL)

Step 1


FLOUR CHICKEN BREASTS, SAUTE IN A LITTLE BUTTER. TAKE OUT OF PAN. SAUTE MUSHROOMS. TAKE OUT OF PAN. ADD TO PAN WINE AND CHICKEN BROTH, SIMMER AND LET REDUCE SOME. YOU CAN ADD TBSP OR 2 HEAVY CREAM AT THIS TIME. TAKE SOME OF LIQUID OUT OF PAN AND ADD FLOUR TO IT AND POUR INTO PAN( THIS IS TO THICKEN UP SAUCE, DO AS MUCH AS YOU WANT. THEN PUT CHICKEN AND MUSHROOMS BACK IN PAN AND SIMMER FOR 15 - 20 MINUTES. TASTE SAUCE, ADD MORE WINE IF YOU LIKE, IF TOO MUCH WINE , DILUTE WITH WATER. SERVE WITH ANY KIND OF PASTA OR RICE.
