Twinkie Cake

  • Filling:
  • Yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 1/4 c. oleo
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. evaporated milk

Preparation

Step 1

Bake yellow cake mix as directed on box (can do cupcakes). Cut cake 1/2 of depth through using thread. Put top 1/2 aside. Combine all filling ingredients; beat on high for 8 to 10 minutes until thick. Spread filling on bottom 1/2 of cake. Replace top 1/2 of cake.
