Ingredients
- 8 slices bacon
- 1 pound mild sausage
- 1 can drained chopped mushrooms
- 6 slices bread, cubed
- 8 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 cup grated Velveeta
Preparation
Step 1
Pan fry bacon slices until crispy. Remove bacon from pan and brown sausage in bacon grease; add mushrooms. Dry out bread slices in warm oven and use pizza slicer to cut into cubes. Line greased 9 x 13 pan with bread cubes. Beat eggs, add milk, beat in bowl. Add salt and dry mustard; make sure mustard dissolves thoroughly. Drain sausage and spread evenly over bread cubes. Pour egg mixture over sausage. Sprinkle cheese on eggs. Let set in the refrigerator 5-8 hours or overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
