Hawaiian Banana Nut Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 C. all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 C. sugar
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 C. chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 C. vegetable oil
  • 2 C. mashed bananas
  • 1 can (8oz) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

1. Combine first 5 ingredients, stir in pecans. Combine remaining ingredients; add to flour mixture, stirring just until ingredients are moistened.

2. Spoon batter into 2 greased and floured 8 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 3" loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 70 minutes or until done. Cool in pans 10 minutes; remove from pans and let cool on wire racks.
