Microwave Peanut Brittle

Ingredients

  • 1 c sugar
  • 1/2 c lt syrup
  • dash salt
  • 1 1/2 c raw peanuts
  • 1 T margarine
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Heavily grease cookie sheet.

Combine sugar, syrup and salt in3 quart casserole. Stir in peanuts. Microwave on high until light brown, 6 to 8 minutes. Stirring once or twice. Stir in remaining ingredients, until light and foamy. Quickly spread on baking sheet.
