Rueben Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 8 slices rye bread
  • 1 cup drained sauerkraut
  • 1 lb shaved corn beef
  • 1/2 lb sliced Swiss cheese
  • 2 tablespoons whole grain Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Preparation

Step 1

Spread Dijon mustard on 4 slices of rye bread. Top each slice of bread with sauerkraut, corn beef, Swiss cheese, and another slice of rye bread.

Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook sandwiches, turning once, until bread is toasted and cheese is melted, about 6 minutes total.
