    tbsp. sugar

    egg yolk

  • 2

    cups milk

  • 3

    tbsp. tapioca

  • 1/8

    tsp. salt

  • 2

    tbsp. sugar

  • 1/2

    tsp. vanilla

Directions

Beat egg white, add 2 tbsp. sugar. Beast until meringue stands in soft peaks. Mix egg yolk, milk, salt, tapioca and 2 tbsp. sugar in saucepan. Cook until mixture comes to a full boil (5 - 8 minutes). Remove from heat. Slowly stir hot mixture into egg white. Add vanilla. Let stand 15 - 20 minutes then stir. (Mom)
