Chocolate Torte

Ingredients

  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 stick butter, softened
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1-8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 1/3 c. Cool Whip
  • 2 sm. boxes instant chocolate fudge pudding
  • 3 c. milk

Preparation

Step 1

Work together flour, butter and nuts; and press into bottom of pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes; cool. Mix cream cheese and sugar. When creamy, add Cool Whip and spread on cooled crust. Mix milk and pudding mix until creamy, pour over second layer. Spread Cool Whip on top. Sprinkle with nuts. Refrigerate. (I bake the first layer in the microwave for 7 minute on bake.)
