Hashbrown Sausage Bake

Ingredients

  • 32 oz. frozen hashbrowns, thawed
  • 6-7 Tbls butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 tsp beef bouillon granules
  • 1 lb bulk pork sausage
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 8 oz. cottage cheese
  • 3 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Preparation

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine the hashbrowns, butter, and bouillon. Press onto the bottom and up the sides of a greased 10-in. pie plate. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 min or until the edges are lightly browned.

Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook sausage and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. In the same large, combine the sausage mixture, cottage chesses, eggs, and shredded cheddar.

Pout into crust. Bake at 350 degress for 45-50 mintues or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
