Ingredients
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp. Olive oil
- 1 lb. Ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 (16 oz. cans) tomatoes (makes 4 cups)
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup parsley
- 1 1/2 tsp. Dried oregano or sage
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1/4 tsp. Thyme
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 cup water (or less if desire thicker sauce)
Preparation
Step 1
In large skillet, cook onion in hot olive oil until tender. Add meat and garlic; brown lightly. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally. Remove bay leaf and serve with spaghetti noodles.
