Ingredients
- 2 cans garbanzo beans, drained
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 3 tablespoons tahini
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons zaatar seasoning
- salt to taste
Preparation
Step 1
1. Combine all ingredients in food processor; process until smooth, adding a bit of hot water if necessary for proper consistency. Season to taste with salt.
2. To serve, spread hummus in a shallow serving bowl. Sprinkle a bit of zaatar and cayenne over top and drizzle with a bit more olive oil.
Really very good. Very thick - next time I would thin it out with some water. Repeater.
