Ingredients
- 1/3 cup shortening
- 1 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 1 1/2 + 2TB flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt

Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease one large or two small loaf pans.
2. Mix shortening and sugar until fluffy.
3. Stir in eggs, pumpkin and water.
4. Blend in remaining ingredients.
5. Pour into pan(s) and bake from 40-65 minutes until knife comes out clean.
