Ingredients
- 8 oz Tomato Sauce
- 2 (1#) cans Tomatoes, Stewed
- 2 tsp Seasoned Salt
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Fennel Seed
- 1 tsp Basil
- 1/2 tsp Marjoram
- 1/4 tsp Oregano
- 1/4 tsp Red Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Thyme
- 2 Eggs
- 12 oz Cottage Cheese
- 9 Lasagna Noodles Uncooked
- 1 # Ground Beef (cooked)
- 8 oz Mozzarella, Shredded
- Pan Size 9” x 15” x 2 “
- Vegetable Spray
Preparation
Step 1
Mix together tomatoes crushed, tomato sauce, and spices.
In separate bowl mix together cottage cheese and eggs.
1st layer 1/3rd tomato sauce mixture
2nd layer 1/3rd crumbled ground beef
3rd layer 4-5 uncooked noodles
4th layer ½ cottage cheese mixture
5th layer 2nd third tomato sauce
6th layer 2nd third ground beef
7th layer ½ Mozzarella
8th layer remaining noodles
9th layer remaining tomato sauce
10th layer remaining ground beef
11th layer remaining Mozzarella cheese
Gently pour 1 cup water over pan. Cover
Tightly with aluminum foil.
Bake at 350 F 45 minutes
Check and bake 15 minutes longer removing foil if mixture is too moist.
Cool 10-15 minutes before serving
