Ingredients
- 1 doz. saltine crackers
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 1/2 tsp. cream of tarter
Preparation
Step 1
Crumble 1 dozen crackers into unbaked pie shell. Bring to a boil the sugar, water and cream of tarter; pour over crackres. Sprinkle with nutmeg, cinnamon and dot with butter. Cover with top crust and bake.
NOTE: This recipe was given to me free Alice Happ in a recipe exchange. It really does taste like apple pie.
