  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup tomato puree (such as Pomi)
  • 1/4 cup Atkins Sugar Free Pancake Syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Oven Fried Chicken Seasoning
  • 2 garlic cloves pressed
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce - (to 1/2) or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Servings 4

Step 1

Snip off and discard chicken wing tips; separate wings at joint. In a large saucepot, bring tomato puree, syrup, chicken seasoning, garlic, hot sauce and salt to a boil.

Add wings to pot, cover and simmer 5 minutes. Uncover and cook 20 minutes more until wings are cooked through and liquid reduces enough to form a glaze.

Heat broiler; arrange wings on broiler pan. Broil 2 to 3 minutes, until crisp.
