Caramel Cream Cookies

Ingredients

  • Cookies:
  • 1 c. butter
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 1/4 c. flour
  • Frosting:
  • 2 T. butter
  • 1 1/4 c. powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 to 5 tsp. milk

Preparation

Step 1

Mix cookie ingredients. Make into balls and flatten. Bake 9 to 13 minutes (until light brown) at 350 degrees.
FROSTING: Brown butter. Add other ingredients and mix. (Add milk until just thick enough to frost cookies.) Frost cookies while still slightly warm.
