Ingredients
- 8 jumbo shrimp (or 12 extra large)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 4 tablespoon butter (1/2 stick)
- 2 teaspoons parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Clean and devein shrimp. Split lengthwise
In a large sauté pan over medium heat, add the onions and garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes.
Add the flour and sauté for 2 more minutes.
Add the white wine and lemon juice. Simmer until a light sauce forms.
Add the shrimp and cook for 3-5 minutes. Add the butter and stir until the butter melts. Add the chopped parsley.
Serve with rice.
