Ingredients
- 2 lb skirt steak
- 1 cup of orange juice
- juice from 1 lime
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 white onion, diced (save a few tablespoons for topping)
- 1/4 cup cilantro, roughly chopped
- salt and pepper
- corn tortillas
- cilantro for topping
Preparation
Step 1
season your steak with salt and pepper
whisk together the orange juice, lime juice,garlic, onion and cilantro
place your steak in a zip top bag, and pour the marinade over the meat
seal bag, and refrigerate at least 2 hours
heat a grill, or skillet over med-high heat
remove the steak from the marinade (discard marinade)
thinly slice steak
grill or saute until cooked through (6 - 8 minutes)
while your meat is cooking, wrap tortillas in a clean towel, and warm in a 200 F. oven
serve tacos topped with diced onion and cilantro
