Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/3 cup minced onion
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 pound mushrooms, chopped
  • 1/2 cup nonfat chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Preparation

Step 1

1. Saute onion and garlic in oil until soft.

2. Add mushrooms. Cook 10 mins. Add rest of ingredients. Simmer 5 mins.
