Dump Dessert

  • 2 cans pie filling of your choice
  • 1 pkg. dry cake mix of your choice
  • 1 1/2 sticks margarine

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking pan. Dump both cans of pie filling into bottom of pan and spread evenly. Slice margarine into 12 slices and dot over top. Bake 1 hour. May be made in Dutch oven over campfire, but don't overcook!
VARIATIONS: Use apple filling for spice cake; cherry filling for chocolate cake; or any combination you like.
