Ingredients
- Apples
- 3 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 c. white sugar
- 1/2 c. water (scant)
- 1 1/4 c. flour
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 stick margarine
Preparation
Step 1
Pare and slice enough apples to fill a 9x13-inch pan. Fill pan 1/2 full of slices. Mix together and add white sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/4 cup flour. Add 1/2 cup water to pan. Fill pan with remaining slices. Combine 1 cup flour, brown sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon. With pastry cutter, cut in 1 stick margarine and sprinkle over top of apple slices. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until apples are cooked. Use less water if apples are juicy.
