  • 1/2 cabbage, chopped
  • 1 cup celery
  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 (14 oz.) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. basil.
  • 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Step 1

Heat 2 tbsp. olive o8il in a large pot. Add all
vegetables (except garlic and cabbage, and sauté until tender. Stir in garlic .

Pour in broth and stir in tomatoes and cabbage. Bring to a boil and reduce heat. Cook until cabbage is tender. Stir in seasonings. Simmer a few minutes.
