Tuna And Watercress With Wasabi Mayonnaise

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon canola oil
  • 1 tuna steak - (8 to 10 oz)
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon wasabi powder (or white horseradish)
  • 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 4 slices Atkins bread lightly toasted
  • 1/2 cup watercress rinsed, dried, and stems removed
  • 1/4 red onion sliced very thin

Step 1

Heat sesame and canola oils in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear tuna 2 minutes per side. Transfer to a cutting board and slice thinly on the diagonal.

Mix mayonnaise, wasabi powder and soy sauce. Spread on bread slices. Layer watercress, red onion, and tuna slices on two slices of bread. Top with remaining bread slices.
