Always Ready Dilled Slaw

Ingredients

  • 1 small head cabbage, shredded
  • 1 stalk celery thinly sliced
  • 2 green and 1 red pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 2 tsp dill seeds
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup salad oil

Preparation

Step 1

Combine veggies in a large mixing bowl. Sprinle with sugar tossing well.

Heat vinegar, mustard, dill seeds and sailt to boiling. Remove from heat. Pour over cabbage mix. Evenly drizzle oil over mix. Toss.

Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour.
