Orange Butter Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c orange zest (about 3 oranges)
  • 1.5 c fresh orange juice
  • 1 t kosher salt
  • 1 t freshly ground pepper
  • 1 c butter, chilled & cut into 1" pieces

Preparation

Step 1

1. Stir together 1st 4 ingredients in a non-aluminum saucepan; bring to a boil.
2. Cook over med-high heat 25 min or until mixture is reduced to 1/4c.
3. Remove from heat.
4. Gradually whisk butter into orange juice mixture.
5. Serve immediately.
