Ingredients
- 1 baked pie crust
- 1 quart strawberries, cleaned and halved
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp lemon juice
Preparation
Step 1
Lay 1/2 of berries in bottom of the crust. Mash the other half in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add sugar, cornstarch, salt and baking powder. Cook about 10 min. Stir constantly. When cooled add lemon juice.
Pour over raw berries in the crust. Chill and serve topped with Whipped Cream.
