Ingredients

  • 1 1/2

    lbs stew meat cut into small pieces

  • 2

    medium onions diced

  • 2

    stalks celery diced

  • 2-4

    carrots diced

  • 1

    15oz can corn

  • 1

    15oz can peas

  • 1

    15oz can green beans

  • 3-5

    potatoes

  • 2

    8oz cans tomato sauce

  • 1/2

    cup of ketchup

  • 1/4

    teaspoon basil

  • 1/4

    teaspoon oregano

  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Brown the stew meat in a large pot. Fill with water just to cover the meat. Bring to a boil. Add onions and celery. Bring to boil. Add carrots. Boil for about 5 minutes. Add canned corn, peas and green beans. Bring to a boil. Add potatoes your choice of how many. Bring to a boil. Add tomato sauce and ketchup. Add basil and oregano. Taste to see if it needs salt and pepper.
