Sweet and sour tangy chicken

Ingredients

  • 3 c of apple juice
  • 1 lemon sliced thinly
  • 1 sprig of thyme
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 1 chicken – cut into pcs

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a med- high heat add the apple juice, lemon, thyme, garlic and brown sugar and reduce until the sauce is syrupy.
2. You can use a chicken with the bone in – or boneless if you like. In a baking sheet place the chicken down so that it sits flat – pour the reduced syrup onto the chicken.
3. Bake in the oven at 400 for 45 mins – flipping it once ½ way through the cooking process.
