- 3 Slices Bacon
- 1 Medium Onion, chopped
- 1 Tbs. Sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. Flour
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1/4 tsp. Black Pepper
- 1 Cup Vinegar
- 1 Medium-sized Cabbage, shredded

Step 1
Snip up the bacon into snibbles and fry until crisp. Take out and drain on a paper towel. Saute the chopped onion in the bacon drippings until it is a golden brown. Combine the sugar, flour, salt and pepper and stir into the drippings. Gradually add vinegar and cook slowly until thickened, stirring constantly. Add the bacon to the sauce and heat till hot. Pour over the shredded cabbage and toss to mix well.
