Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons apf
- 1 ½ c milk
- ½ c sharp cheddar cheese
Preparation
Step 1
1. In a sauce pan melt the butter, then add the flour (make a roux). Once the flour and butter have cooked out (it should have a nutty scent to it). Add the milk and let it thicken.
2. Stir in figure 8’s so that the milk mixture does not burn. Add a bit of nutmeg and s&p to taste. Add the cheese in and let it melt. Serve with veggies or pasta.
