Instant Mocha Mousse

Ingredients

  • 3 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1/4 cup strong coffee
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp. confectioner's sugar

Preparation

Step 1

In a small heavy saucepan or in a double boiler over gently simmering water, melt the chocolate in the coffee. Stir until smooth. Remove from heat and pour into a cold metal bowl for faster cooling.

Whip cream slowly adding sugar until cream is thick and light. Fold in chocolate mixture and beat again if cream becomes too soft.

Pile in glass serving dishes and refrigerate until needed.
