Orange Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 envelope + 1 tsp. gelatin
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1 1/2 cups orange juice
  • Rind of 1 lemon
  • 1 1/2 cups boiling water
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 pint whipping cream

Preparation

Step 1

Soak gelatin in cold water. Add the boiling water and dissolve the gelatin. Add the sugar, fruit juices and rind.

Let stand until slightly set, then fold in the whipped cream.

Chill for several hours.
