GOOEY CARAMEL STICKY BUNS

Ingredients

  • TOPPING:
  • 1/4 CUP BUTTER, MELTED
  • 1/4 CUP BROWN SUGAR, FIRMLY PACKED
  • 2 TABLESPOONS LIGHT CORN SYRUP
  • 1/3 CUP CHOPPED PECANS (I PREFER WALNUTS)
  • BUNS:
  • 1 TABLESPOON SUGAR
  • 1/2 TEASPOON CINNAMON
  • 1 CAN PILLSBURY GRANDS; JR GOLDEN LAYERS REFRIGERATED BISCUITS

Preparation

Step 1

IN A SMALL BOWL, COMBINE ALL THE TOPPING INGREDIENTS AND MIX WELL.
GREASE 12 MUFFIN CUPS. INTO EACH CUP SPOON A SCANT TABLESPOON OF THE TOPPING.
IN A PLASTIC BAG, COMBINE SUGAR AND CINNAMON; MIX WELL. SEPARATE DOUGH INTO 10 BISCUITS CUT EACH BISCUIT INTO 6 PIECES. SHAKE PIECES IN SUGAR MIXTURE. PLACE 5 PIECES OF DOUGH IN EACH MUFFIN CUP.
PLACE THE PAN ON FOIL OR A COOKIE SHEET DURING BAKING TO GUARD AGAINST SPILLS. BAKE IN A PREHEATED 375 DEGREE OVEN FOR 15 TO 20 MINUTES OR UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN. COOL FOR 1 MINUTE AND INVERT ONTO WAXED PAPER. SERVE WARM AND ENJOY!
