Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, very soft
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup figs, chopped
- 1/4 cup chopped almonds
- 2 cups flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 1/4 tablespoon milk
- 1 cup raisins

Preparation
Step 1

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.

Beat butter sugar and honey until fluffy.
Add eggs and beat again.

Stir in almonds, figs, cinnamon , nutmeg, and flour (you can use chopped nuts instead of almonds).
4.
Sift in salt, baking powder, milk and raisins and beat.
Turn into 9 1/2 x 5 inches loaf pan.
5.
Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour and half or until done.
