Ingredients
- Pork butt or shoulder
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup paprika
- 3 T. salt
- 2 T. black pepper
- 1 T. cayenne
- 2 t. dry mustard
Preparation
Step 1
Mix all the dry ingredients together. Poke holes in the meat; rub entire seasoning over it. Let set in refrigerator for 2-3 days turning once a day.
Cook in a cast iron Dutch overn at 250-300 degrees for 4-6 hours. Test by putting a fork in and twist. If it falls to pieces, it is done.
