Tilapia with Chile-Lime Butter

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 ⁄2 shallot
  • 1 ⁄2 lime
  • 1 ⁄4 serrano chile
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 5 oz tilapia fillet
  • 1 ⁄4 tsp paprika

Preparation

Step 1

Heat skillet over medium high heat. While skillet is heating, mix butter, shallot, lime zest, juice, and chile together. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Add oil to pan and when hot, add tilapia to pan. Sprinkle with paprika and salt and pepper. Cook on both sides until golden and serve immediately topped with a small dab of butter.
