    cup butter (½ lb)

  • cup sugar

    cup sour cream (½ pint)

    cups all purpose flour

    Tspn baking soda

  • Tspn baking powder

  • 1

    Tspn vanilla extract

  • ¾

    cup finely chopped walnuts with cinnamon and sugar


DO NOT preheat oven! In a large bowl, combine butter, sugar and eggs. Beat until light and fluffy. Blend in sour cream. Stir in flour, baking soda, baking powder and vanilla. Blend well. *Batter will be thick* Butter and flour a 9" tube pan or a 10" bunt pan. Spoon 1/2 the batter into the prepared pan. Spoon 1/2 the cinnamon mixture over the batter. Spoon remaining batter on top and sprinkle with remaining cinnamon mixture. Place in a cool oven. Set oven temperature to 350 degrees F. Bake for 55 mins.
