Ingredients

  • Bread Crumbs:
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 c. bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 thick slices cauliflower
  • Pasta, cooked
  • Parmasean
  • Jar of favorite spaghetti sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Preaheat oven to 450 degrees.
In a shallow dish add water. In another shallow dish, whisk together the ingredients for the bread crumbs. Dip each cauliflower cutlet gently into the water first and then into the bread crumbs until completely coated. Place each cutlet on a piece of parchment paper. Heat up a skillet over medium-high heat until completely heated through and cook each slice in 1 tsp of olive oil until browned on both sides (approx 7-10 min on each side).

In a baking dish, place the marinara sauce in the bottom. Top with cauliflower slices and cheese. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve over cooked pasta (optional).
