Ingredients
- 1 3/4 c flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 c butter, chilled
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Step 1
In a food processor, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; process for several seconds. Add butter and vanilla; process until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal. Add remaining ingredients; pulse until dough is evenlly moistened. divide dough into 4 equal parts; form each into a log. Place on lightly greased baking sheets. Bake at 350' for 25 minutes; remove from oven. Cut logs on the diagonal into one" thick slices. Place slices cut side down on baking sheets. Bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, until golden. Cool on wire racks.
