Grilled Orange Chicken
The "chicken pieces" can be thighs, breasts, different cuts or chicken meat cut into small pieces and put on a skewer.
- Chicken pieces (any cut will do)
- 1/4 C soy sauce
- 2 TBS orange juice
- 1 tsp 5-spice powder
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Honey (for brushing)
Prepare chicken pieces by cutting away excess fat and/or skin; or by cutting into pieces for skewers.
Mix all ingredients for marinade and blend well.
Add chicken to the marinade and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Grill on medium-high heat until cooked through.
Brush on honey during the last 15 minutes of grilling/baking.
Note: If not grilled, chicken may be baked at 350 F until done.
