Cherry Almond Blueberry Cinnamon Oatmeal Breakfast

Forget about those little sugar-laden packets of instant oatmeal. Homemade is just as quick, and far more wholesome and satisfying.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1 handful dried cherries and dried blueberries
  • 1 handful raw almonds
  • 1 spoonful of cinnamon
  • 1 spoonful of flax seed or wheat germ
  • 3/4 cup boiling water

Preparation

Step 1

Put oatmeal, dried cherries, blueberries, almonds, cinnamon, and flax seed into a cereal bowl. Add 3/4 cup boiling water and cover bowl with a plate. Let sit for a couple minutes, then stir and eat!
