Cheesy Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 8-10 potatoes
  • 3-4 inches cubed Velveeta
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Peel potatoes and cut in chunks (about 8 pieces per potato). Boil for 15-20 minutes until soft.

Pour milk into a skillet and whisk in cornstarch until mixed well. Add butter, salt and white pepper. Heat the sauce on medium heat while stirring. Bring to a boil and boil 1 minute. Then take off the heat and add the Velveeta, stiring until it melts and looks cheesy enough. Drain potatoes really good, pour them into a 9 x 13 dish and pour the cheese sauce over them.
