- Bourbon
- molasses
- Brown sugar
- Apple cider vinegar
- Worcestershire sauce
- ketchup
- red pepper fllakes

Step 1
Warm 2 tbsp olive oil in a medium sauce pai over medium-high heat. Add 1 chopped Vidalia onion and cook, stirring , 5 minutes. Add 1 peeled chopped apple, season with kosher salt and cook about 5 minutes. Stir in 2/3 cup raisins and 1 cup bourbon; bring to a simmer and reduce by half, about 10 minutes. Decrease heat to medium and add 1/3 cup molassess, 1/4 cup packed brown sugar, 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 1 tbsp ketchup and 1 pinch red pepper flakes.
Season with more kosher salt and return to a simmer. Cook, stirring about 2 minutes to let flavors blend. Let cool, then puree in a blender. Add more salt or vinegar to taste
