Ingredients

    cup flour

    teaspoon salt

    tablespoon cocoa

  • 2

    teaspoon baking powder

  • 2/3

    cup sugar

  • 1/2

    cup milk

  • 1

    teaspoon vanilla

  • 2

    tablespoons melted butter

  • 1/2

    cup chopped nuts

  • 1

    cup brown sugar

  • 1/4

    cup cocoa

  • 1 1/2

    coiling water

Directions

Sift flour, salt, 2T cocoa, baking powder and sugar three times. Combine milk, vanilla, melted butter and chopped nuts and add to dry ingredients. Spread in a 2 quart casserole dish. Combine brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa and sprinkle on top. Pour boiling water over all and bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
