Ingredients

  • 1 pork butt, or shoulder
  • 1/2 onion
  • 3/4 cup water,separated
  • Ilg's BBQ sauce (or smokey) to taste
  • soft buns

Preparation

Step 1

Place the pork in a crock pot.
Season with salt and pepper.
Add 1/2 onion.
Add 1/4 cup water.
Cook on low for 10-12 hours.
Allow to cool down a little.
Pull meat apart and remove all fat and skin.
Place into a pot on the stove and add BBQ sauce to taste.
Add 1/2 cup water.
Simmer 20-30 minutes.
Can keep warm in crock pot.
Serve on a soft bun.
