Ingredients

    pound petit foures (butter biscuits)

  • 1

    pound dark chocolate

  • 2

    eggs

  • 1/2

    cup heavy cream / or half and half

  • 3

    tablespoons butter

  • pinch of vanilla

Directions

Crumble boxes of cookies into small but not very tiny pieces. Melt chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave. Blend in the butter and cream. Add the vanilla and eggs. Stir in the crushed biscuits and make sure to coat the biscuits with chocolate mixture. Prepare 3 sheets of rectangular parchment paper. Spoon 1/3 of the chocolate mixture onto one side of each sheet. Roll the parchment paper into a log and tie the two sides. Repeat the same operation with the other two sheets and take out of the refrigerator. Peel off the parchment paper and cut into serving slices. Or cut a large piece of aluminum foil and shape cooking mixture into a log.
