Vinegar Cucumbers

Ingredients

  • 8 c cucumbers, thinly sliced
  • 1 large white or sweet onion
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 c apple cider vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tsp canning/ pickling salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
  • 2 tsp celery seed (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Combine cucumbers and onions.
Combine remaining ingredients in separate bowl and stir until sugar dissolves.
Pour over cucumber mixture and mix well.
Cover and chill over night.
Refrigerate up to 2 weeks.
